The Military Diet – the Best Way to Drop a Ton of Weight in a Short Time
How to Lose Weight in a Short Time
Losing weight in a short time is every woman’s dream. However, there’s no magic wand that can do it. The reality is that losing weight takes a lot of time, and the diets everyone’s using right now are more harmful than anything else. Fortunately, there are a few that can help you slim down without destroying your health.
The Military Diet
The so-called military diet has been around for a long time. Gaining popularity in the 80s and 90s, the military diet lasts for only 3 days and has amazing benefits. The trick that makes it work is the reduction of calories. Don’t worry – you won’t starve. All the ingredients on the military diet’s menu have been picked for their satiating properties, so you won’t feel the need to eat all the time.
For the duration of the diet, you’ll eat something over 1,000 calories per day. It sounds like too little, but it’s more than enough to keep you satiated and lose weight. You’ll have to stick to the rules, though – no snacks between meals, no alcohol, and no seasonings aside from salt and pepper. You can exercise while on the military diet, but don’t go overboard. After all, you’re eating far fewer calories than you should.
Military Diet Menu

Lunch: a piece of toast with ½ cup tuna and a cup of sugarless tea or coffee
Dinner: 3 oz. of any type of meat, a cup of green beans, 1 apple (small), half a banana, 1 cup vanilla ice-cream
Total: 1,400 calories
Day 2
Breakfast: a piece of toast, 1 boiled egg, half a banana
Lunch: a few pieces of cheddar (or 1 cup cottage cheese), 1 boiled egg, 5 crackers
Dinner: 2 hot dogs with a cup of broccoli and half a cup of carrots (boiled), half a banana, 1 cup vanilla ice-cream
Total: 1,200 calories
Day 3

Lunch: a piece of toast and one boiled egg
Dinner: a cup of tuna, 1 banana, 1 cup vanilla ice-cream

You should lose up to 10 pounds with the military diet. Take a four-day break and you can repeat it as long as you like. When you’re satisfied with the results, cut the diet and return to your normal dietary habits. However, don’t overindulge in meat immediately. Instead, add it back to your diet bit by bit in order not to shock your digestive system.
